As part of our continued growth, we are excited to announce the acquisition of Varney & Smith, bringing a new location to our network in Lisbon, New Hampshire. Located along Route 302 in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains region, the Varney & Smith site is just a short distance from Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain, and other popular outdoor destinations.
This new Lisbon location allows us to better serve customers in northern New Hampshire and western Maine—areas that were previously less accessible from our existing locations.

Dianne worked for Varney & Smith for six years before joining the rk MILES team through the company's acquisition. Today, as a Contractor Sales Representative, her favorite part of the job is helping both contractors and homeowners find the right solutions for their projects.When she's not at work, Dianne enjoys kayaking, walking, biking, gardening, sewing, quilting, cooking, volunteering, and fundraising. Most of all, she treasures spending time with her 94-year-old dad, her daughter, and her grandson.Fun Fact: Dianne served as a Town Clerk/Tax Collector for more than 20 years! She also managed Contractor Sales at Lowe's, where she led her team from third-from-last in the region to the #1 ranking.
Joe worked for Varney & Smith before becoming part of the rk MILES team in May 2026 through the company's acquisition. He enjoys building relationships with both new and existing contractors and customers. His favorite part of being a Contractor Salesperson is connecting with people and helping customers find the right solutions for their projects.Outside of work, Joe enjoys golfing, bike riding, and hiking. A fun fact about him is that he has been collecting baseball cards since 1977!
Rick says his favorite part of being a Contractor Salesperson is helping customers bring their projects to life. He spent nearly five years with Varney & Smith before joining the rk MILES team when the company was acquired in May 2026. Rick brings with him valuable industry experience and a customer-first approach - he takes great pride in finding solutions and supporting customers every step of the way.When Rick isn't working, you'll most likely find him spending time on his boat, dog sledding, hunting, or woodworking.
