Purchasing Associate

Are you Reliable, Responsible, and Caring?  Come join the rk MILES purchasing team, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing inventory, sourcing quality products, and contributing to our company’s success.

As a member of our Purchasing Team, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Inventory management, monitor stock levels for assigned product lines to maintain optimal availability.
• Procurement and order processing, place orders with suppliers and coordinate transfers between locations as needed.
• Receiving and documentation, accurately receive and record products in the inventory management system.
• Product performance analysis, continuously evaluate sales trends and inventory turnover making strategic recommendations as needed.
• Market and product research, stay informed on industry trends, new product lines and supplier options to support purchasing decisions.

Experience:

• Qualified applicants must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to problem solve effectively while fostering successful business relationships.
• Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service and procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of building materials, millwork products and hardware supplies is a plus.
