r.k. Miles, Inc. in Manchester Center, VT is seeking positive, energetic individuals for the following positions.
Hardware Sales Clerks
Candidates must have: previous sales and customer service experience, general knowledge of hardware supplies, paint and related products and/or building materials, computer experience, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical applications and forklift experience are a plus.
Duties include assisting customers both inside and outside the hardware store. Ability to be on feet all day and be able to lift products weighing up to 75 pounds, repeated walking up and down stairs, and climbing a ladder. Saturdays are required.
Paint Department Sales Clerk
Duties include assisting customers in selecting paint and paint sundries, mixing & matching paint and operating a cash register. Candidates must have previous sales and customer service experience. Applicant must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to be on their feet all day and be able to lift products weighing up to 75 pounds.
Outside Sales Position
Full-time Outside Salesperson to cover South Central Vermont. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience in Lumber, Building Materials, and Doors & Windows.
