HARDWARE PURCHASING SALES MANAGER Duties include purchasing direct Hardware orders for multiple facilities. Working with the Marketing Coordinator to promote new products and promotional items. Prepare show purchases, and attend mulitple shows throughout the year. Work collaboratively with Department Managers. Negotiate with vendors for best deals. Review inventory turns and make suggestions for improvement.
Required skills and experience: • Minimum of 5 years of Purchasing and Management • Experience working with buying groups and national accounts • Dynamic leadership skills • Excellent written and oral communication • Perfected negotiation skills • Valid Drivers License
LEAD TOOL SALES r.k. Miles, Inc. in Manchester Center, VT is seeking a positive, energetic individual for Lead Tool Sales Clerk. Duties include assisting customers in selecting power & hand tools and accessories. Involvement with tool purchasing, merchandising and promotions. Willing to train an enthusiastic , positive person who wants to learn more about tools. Candidates for Paint and Tools must have previous customer service experience and excellent communication skills. Ability to be on feet all day and be able to lift products weighing up to 90 pounds, repeated walking up and down stairs, and climbing a ladder. Candidate must be willing to learn to run a fork lift. Candidate must like working independently and as part of a team. Saturday’s required.
WEST HATFIELD Employment Opportunities
PART TIME WINDOW & DOOR TECHNICIAN/INSTALLER Candidate will be responsible to drive to jobsites; observe and solve technical window and door issues, make repairs, and process warranty paperwork. Candidate will perform small window and door installations processed through the Window & Door Dept. Candidate must have knowledge of window and door products, building application, the ability to accurately measure projects, read detailed architectural drawings and able to operate power and hand tools. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 100 lbs. Valid drivers license.
INSTALLED SALES MANAGER This position is responsible to meet with the customer in their home and sell product and installation packages as well as manage multiple crews through the install process. • Follow up on any many installed sales leads • Meet with customers to discuss product + installation of various millwork products, measure job and prepare estimate • Schedule, coordinate and manage crews and installation of products • Control product timeline • Complete paperwork in a timely manner • Ensure safe working conditions for crew
Required skills and expereince: • Ability to problem solve and be creative with building condition • Knowledge of window and door products • Understand building practices • Minimum 5 years of previous construction supervision • Vailid drivers license
CLASS B DELIVERY DRIVER Candidate must have valid CDL Class B driver's license, recent driving experience, and a clean & safe driving record. Candidate must have positive attitude and ability to provide excellent customer service in the yard and at jobsites. Physical Requirements include ability to lift products weighing up to 95 lbs to place on truck or unload from truck, and carry up-and-down ladders. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

DOOR AND WINDOW SALES SUPERVISROR r.k. Miles, Inc in Middlebury VT is seeking a positive, energetic individual for a full-time Door & Window Sales Supervisor. Must possess previous supervisory, sales and building experience and be familiar with millwork products and applications. Applicant will be responsible to supervise Inside Sales and support our Outside Sales staff.
Required skills and experience: • Knowledge of door and window products and building application • Ability to read blue prints and do material take-offs • Ability to drive to job sites, meet with customers, measure projects • Ability to problem solve; be creative with building conditions • Knowledge of Window and door computer software • Minimum 5 years Supervisory experience
